New Year.......New Life

BEST WISHES FOR A HAPPY NEW YEAR !

I am delighted to report a new member in our family.  Just before Christmas, Archie arrived..............a white and very light bundle of fluff.  With three brothers and two sisters, and a father called Sir Toshi Of The Glen, Archie (or to give him his full Sunday name - Arctic Archie of Gleneagles) burst into our lives ---and has certainly kept us on our toes for the past four weeks.

This "Westie" or West Highland Terrier is a real character and, just like any baby, child or animal, is very demanding.  Nothing daunted, he certainly made his presence felt by disrupting Christmas Day - an emergency visit (and hefty bill !), to the Vets'.

Already very popular with the children (and many parents too) who come for tutoring, Archie has certainly made himself at home - with "resting mats" in various rooms from which to survey the visitors -- when not engaged in giving them friendly little nips !

I feel sure that there will be much to report over the coming weeks and months about this particular individual !

I hope you have all had as fun a time as us - and that you are ready for the new term.
